البابا لاون الرّابع عشر يبارك حجر أساس الحاضرة الإعلاميّة لتيلي لوميار ونورسات

تحت أنظار سيّدة لبنان- حريصا، وفي لحظة مؤثّرة ومقدّسة، بارك البابا لاون الرّابع عشر حجر أساس الحاضرة الإعلاميّة لتيلي لوميار ونورسات، بحضور رئيس مجلس إدارة تيلي لوميار المطران أنطوان نبيل العنداري، ومدير عامّ تيلي لوميار ورئيس مجلس إدارة نورسات السّيّد جاك الكلّاسي، والزّميلة الإعلاميّة جوزفين ضاهر الغول.
شكر العنداري قداسته على هذه اللّفتة الثّمينة ولخّص له رسالة المدينة الإعلاميّة بكلمات ثلاث باللّغة اللّاتينيّة veritas carnitas Unitas، وتعني الحقيقة، المحبّة، والوحدة؟
وللمناسبة، استمع البابا إلى شرح قدّمه الكلّاسي عن هذه المدينة الإعلاميّة ورسالتها وأهدافها، واستلم منه مطويّة تتحدّث عن الوجود المسيحيّ في لبنان والشّرق، رافعًا فيها مطالب إلى الفاتيكان تتضمّن ما يحتاجه المسيحيّون اليوم.
وبإسم إعلاميّي تيلي لوميار طلبت جوزفين ضاهر الغول من قداسته لقاء في الفاتيكان لإعلاميّي تيلي لوميار ولكلّ العاملين في الإعلام المسيحيّ في لبنان لنيل بركته وتشجيعهم في خضمّ التّحدّيات.
وبادل الأب الأقدس الجميع بإصغاء محدق وتامّ، مبديًا اهتمامه.
وتأتي هذه البركة إيمانًا برسالة تيلي لوميار في بحر البشارة، وفي زمن يحتاج فيه العالم إلى نور الإنجيل وسط ظلمات الحرب والنّزاعات والصّراعات، بخاصّة في هذا الشّرق المتألّم، فكما يقول الكلّاسي: “في زمن دمّرت الحروب مدنًا، ألا يحقّ للسّلام مدينة؟”.

Blesses the Corner Stone of Tele Lumiere & Noursat Media City
Monday December 1, 2025, and in a solemn moment overlooking the shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa, Pope Leo XIV blessed the Corner Stone of Tele Lumiere & Noursat Media City. The ceremony was attended by Tele Lumiere Chairman Bishop Antoine Nabil Andari, Tele Lumiere General Director and Noursat Chairman Jacques El Kallassi, and the journalist in Tele Lumiere & Noursat Josephine Daher El-Ghoul.
Bishop Andari thanked the Pope for what he described as a “highly meaningful gesture,” summarizing the mission of the Media City in three Latin words: veritas, caritas, unitas, meaning truth, love, and unity.
El Kallassi presented to the Pope an overview of the project, outlining its mission and goals. He also handed His Holiness a booklet on the Christian presence in Lebanon and the Middle East, which included several requests addressed to the Vatican regarding the needs of Christians today.
Speaking on behalf of Tele Lumiere’s media professionals, Josephine Daher El-Ghoul requested a meeting at the Vatican for the network’s journalists and for Christian media workers in Lebanon, seeking the Pope’s blessing and support amid ongoing challenges.
The Pope listened attentively, expressing clear interest.
This blessing reaffirms the mission of Tele Lumiere in the field of evangelization at a time when the world is in desperate need of the Gospel’s light, particularly in a region marked by conflict and suffering. As El Kallassi expresses, “In an age when wars have destroyed cities, doesn’t peace deserve a city of its own?”
