*Dr. Basima Al-Hawli Visits the Lebanese Consul in Melbourne to Congratulate Him on His New Appointment*

Dr. Basma Al-Houli visited the Lebanese Consul in Melbourne, Australia, Mr. Tanous Qabalan Al-Qubaiti, to congratulate him on the occasion of assuming his new diplomatic post. She wished him every success in carrying out his duties and serving the Lebanese community in Australia.

The meeting included discussions on a number of public affairs, particularly issues concerning the Lebanese community in Australia. Both sides also emphasized the importance of strengthening communication and building bridges of cooperation between Lebanon and Australia in a way that serves the interests of Lebanese expatriates and further enhances the relations between the two countries.

The two parties also stressed the importance of joint efforts to support the Lebanese community and strengthen its presence, while reinforcing the national and cultural ties between Lebanon and the Lebanese diaspora in Australia.

زارت الدكتورة باسمة الحولي القنصل اللبناني في ملبورن _ أستراليا الاستاذ طنوس قبلان القبعيتي حيث قدّمت له التهنئة بمناسبة تسلّمه مهامه الجديدة متمنيةً له التوفيق والنجاح في أداء مسؤولياته الدبلوماسية وخدمة أبناء الجالية اللبنانية.

وتخلّل اللقاء بحثٌ في عدد من الشؤون العامة ، ولا سيّما القضايا التي تهمّ الجالية اللبنانية في أستراليا ، إضافةً إلى التأكيد على أهمية تعزيز التواصل ومدّ جسور التعاون بين لبنان وأستراليا ، بما يخدم مصالح اللبنانيين المقيمين ويعزّز العلاقات بين البلدين.

كما شدّد الطرفان على أهمية العمل المشترك لدعم أبناء الجالية وتعزيز حضورهم بما يرسّخ الروابط الوطنية والثقافية بين لبنان والانتشار اللبناني في أستراليا
